Hello again summer. Thought you were gone already.

This is a part of my 25th year old birthday present from my family; 2 chairs, a table, a parasol and flowers. Very nice! Now I finally get to use my balcony

Well hello summer!

And hello redneck Elise. It is very hard to reach all of your own back to put on lotion, with your own hands.. I only got a little spot covered. Oh well... first sunburn. ever. I think. I love that spring has come for good now though.

I know. I know!

I really should be writing my exam paper right now, but I'm taking a little break, and thought I might put up some pictures from the past week and this one.

In the weekend I went out in my hometown Herning with posters, stickers and flyers for Roskilde Festival.

My dad went along and we had a great day in the sunny windy weather.

This monday was well spent with a dinner invitation from my very good friend Ingvild from Norway. It was the celebration of the Norwegean national-day including traditional norwegian food, good wine, red,blue,white colours and good friends.

Upon arrival I was met by a beautiful table. The flowers i brought from our garden luckily matched the colours of the norwegian flag.

Ingvild was beautiful as ever in her national clothes.

Flatbröt with spegepoelse. And the very smooth Römmegroed - served with raisins and sugar.

So! this weekend was amazing. Big spring party at a friends house and the day after, Mejlgade for mangfoldighed including a big afterparty where there, to my great satisfaction, were to find a whole dancefloor COVERED in colourful balloons. Imagine my happiness! I have always dreamed of getting to swim or and dance in so many balloons. And so I did. the vibration sent through the balloons, from the deep bass only made it all that much more fun :)

On another note, today I found an old cd with old pictures on. It's from 2004, so here I give you Elise 19 years old.

Pants. So unlike me.

That sweater. Where did it go? I miss it very much.

On yet another note I'm about to start the intense part of my exam writings.

So good luck to me keeping away from the blog and such.

I cleaned up my clothes today. away from the floor and into the washing machine or the closet. very good. now I can relax and tomorrow I will go to my hometown. family fun times :)

I've had a nice week, and a good long weekend with good friends, kapsejlads at Uni, parties, reading, writing and spring. and oh! Mustn't forget the adorable cat Lone! She is the cat of one of my friends and she is so sweet! Nice to have a place to go to, to get your "aaaaww cute little kittie" - fix!

I have finally gotten it down to 50 photos from my theatre trip to Brno. I will soon put them up around here.

teenage mutant banana

Today I went to a workshop down town in the always lovely Mejlgade. The workshop was inspired by the initiative "Her må du gerne..." or, "here you are allowed to..." from Copenhagen. It's basically signs that says all kinds of stuff you are allowed to. For example; Here you can walk hand in hand. or; here you are allowed to be an unemployed architect. or; here you may look at people. and so on...

I didn't make any signs though..instead I participated in trying to do something in the town apart from setting up signs, and so we went to Store Torv and among other things made a big "hinkeman" Yeahr...well see the picture :)

After that I went back to the place we started out and made houses for flies. also, see the pictures. They will be hung up somewhere in town.

I had Emily, a good friend, with me and it was a very nice afternoon.

Emily had brought a mutant banana. I was actually a little scared just then.

By the way, I went to Berlin and Brno recently and will soon be putting up some photos from an amazing trip with a lot of spring, theatre, good people, family and friends. stay tuned.

Spring is here now and I love it. My birthday is up soon..in about a month..and as usual I wont be able to celebrate it because of exams... but, what the hell, my summer holidays starts the 2nd of June. So thats very nice.

Now...will somebody please tell me how to EASILY make photos smaller on a Mac? preferably in Iphoto. I already use preview, with the "adjust zize".. but its just such a lot of nitnatting of work.. Would be eassier to just type in which size I want the picture to become and then..yeahr. :)
